There is a lack of leadership, influence, and support for children and for those in children’s ministry. Through consulting, preaching, writing, teaching, and coaching, I can add value to the Church as we seek to get there first in the lives of kids, parents, and families.
Ministry Experience
I have had the privilege of serving in children’s ministry for over a decade in various capacities at three different churches. My experience began at James River Church in Springfield, MO (Senior Pastor John Lindell) as an intern and volunteer. I then moved to Cumming, GA to be a part of Cross Church (Senior Pastor Josh Mayo) as a volunteer and stipended staff member. After three years at Cross, I made my way to South Florida to work at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens (Senior Pastors Todd and Julie Mullins).
At Christ Fellowship I held several roles: Elementary Coordinator at our broadcast campus; Kids Director at our Boynton Beach campus; Associate Director of Kids at our broadcast campus; and Elementary Pastor/Director at our broadcast campus. I was at Christ Fellowship for nearly seven years.
During my time at these three churches, I learned a great deal about children’s ministry. My roles have included recruiting, onboarding, and retaining volunteers; preaching and teaching; writing curriculum; running weekend and weekday programming; overseeing staff and volunteers; teaching salvation classes; and assisting with baptism.
I currently serve as the Program Director for KidzMatter, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping and empowering the global children’s ministry community. I lead KidMin Academy, our certification program, and host the KidzMatter Podcast.
I would be honored to help train your staff and volunteers, evaluate your kids’ ministry services and environments, speak at your church, camp, or retreat, write for your publication, or simply meet with your kids’ pastor to add value to them! Testimonials
“It is my pleasure to recommend Hannah Augustine from KidzMatter as a Kids Ministry trainer
and speaker. Hannah recently provided a training for our Kids Ministry staff and volunteers at all our campuses, and it was an outstanding and highly beneficial experience for our team.
Hannah brought an excellent combination of biblical foundation, ministry knowledge, practical application, beneficial resources, and engaging communication. Her training was clearly rooted in Scripture while also giving our volunteers practical tools and ideas they could immediately apply in their ministry with children and families.
From beginning to end, Hannah was professional, prepared, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She connected extremely well with our volunteers, kept them engaged, and communicated in a way that was both encouraging and challenging. Our team walked away better equipped and more confident because of the time she invested in them.

MARK G., EXECUTIVE PASTOR
I would highly recommend Hannah to any church looking to strengthen its ministry to the Next Generation and invest in its staff and volunteers. The training was well worth the investment, and we would invite Hannah back anytime.
MARK G., EXECUTIVE PASTOR
In addition, one of the most valuable parts of our experience with Hannah was having her observe
and evaluate our Kids Ministry at various campuses during a typical Sunday morning. This allowed
her to see our ministry in action – from the perspective of a first-time family as well as through the
lens of an experienced Kids Ministry leader. Following the observation, Hannah provided a
thoughtful, detailed and practical debrief for our staff and leadership team. Her outside
perspective and feedback was extremely helpful in evaluating areas such as volunteer
engagement, classroom environments, safety and security, check-in processes, programming,
communication, and the overall experience for children and families.
I am grateful for Hannah’s heart for the local church and her passion for equipping those who
serve children. I recommend her without hesitation! Feel free to reach out to me anytime you
have any questions (419.202.6608 or mark@opendoor.tv).” – Mark Geissbauer, Executive Pastor | Open Door
Whenever I hear the phrase “Kids Pastor,” I think of Hannah Augustine. She absolutely checks every box.
RYAN M., TEACHING PASTOR
“Whenever I hear the phrase “Kids Pastor,” I think of Hannah Peckett. She absolutely checks every box. She is so much fun, she truly loves the Lord and his word, she is passionate about helping kids encounter the Holy Spirit, and she is a dynamic communicator of the Gospel. Whether you need a camp speaker, a curriculum writer, or a ministry consultant – Hannah is your girl. Her education, ministry experience, and her enthusiasm for the Lord uniquely qualify her to serve your church in a lot of different ways. Hannah has been a great blessing to our church and to my family and I know that you will feel the same way about her.”
